A tragic incident has emerged from Dolia village in the Bari Brahmana area of Jammu, where 25-year-old Shubham Rajan, popularly known as “Lucky,” lost his life in Malaysia while working abroad in search of better employment opportunities.
According to family members, Shubham had been working in Malaysia for the past seven to eight years to support his family. Preliminary information suggests that he died in an industrial accident. However, the exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be officially confirmed by the authorities.
The bereaved family said that several legal and administrative formalities must be completed before Shubham’s mortal remains can be brought back to India. Necessary documentation and procedures are currently underway. However, the financially struggling family is facing significant difficulties in arranging the transportation of the body from Malaysia to Jammu.
Shubham’s father revealed that he had spoken to his son just a day before the incident and that he appeared to be in good health. The sudden news of his death has left the family devastated and in deep shock.
Local residents and community representatives have urged the administration to extend all possible assistance to the family. Villagers have appealed to district authorities, public representatives, and social organizations to help expedite the repatriation of the mortal remains so that Shubham can be laid to rest in his native village.
