A large number of devotees thronged the revered Bawe Wali Mata Mandir in Jammu on the first day of Navratra to seek the blessings of the goddess. The temple witnessed a significant rush of pilgrims from the early morning hours, with its doors opening at 4:00 AM.
Despite brief interruptions due to rainfall, devotees continued to arrive at the temple, and the flow of pilgrims soon returned to normal.
To ensure the smooth movement and convenience of visitors, the temple committee has put several arrangements in place. These include community kitchen (langar) facilities, designated parking areas, and a dedicated dispensary. Wheelchair facilities have also been arranged to assist senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
Temple authorities have appealed to devotees to plan their visits on regular weekdays, particularly Monday through Friday, wherever possible. The appeal aims to distribute the rush more evenly and ensure a smoother and more comfortable darshan experience for all pilgrims.
With the beginning of Navratra, the temple has taken on a festive and devotional atmosphere as devotees gather to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Bawe Wali Mata.
