A case has been registered at Police Station Thathri after three minor boys from Kandni village of Tehsil Drabshalla, District Kishtwar, were reported missing under suspicious circumstances.
According to a written complaint submitted by Sanjay Kumar S/o Sewa Ram, resident of Kandni, the three minors — Varun Sharma S/o Suresh Kumar, Priyansh Sharma S/o Joginder Paul, and Aman Sharma S/o Sanjay Kumar — had left their respective homes on June 22 to attend EPHSS Thathri. However, they did not reach the school.
Following their disappearance, family members conducted a search on their own but were unable to trace the children. The complainant alleged that the minors may have been enticed away and kidnapped by unknown persons without the consent of their parents.
Acting on the complaint, Police Station Thathri registered FIR No. 53/2026 under Section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and initiated an investigation into the matter.
The investigation has been entrusted to PSI Rajnish Pangotra (EXJ-196664). Police have launched efforts to trace the missing minors and ascertain the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.
