A tragic road accident in the Chiral Shajroo area of Tehsil Mahore in Reasi district claimed the lives of two women on Wednesday, while four others sustained injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Radhaya Begum (45), wife of Liqat, and Teyara Akther (30), wife of Ashiq Hussain, both residents of Chiral Shajroo, Tehsil Mahore. According to reports, the accident was so severe that both women died on the spot.
Four injured persons were immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, for advanced medical treatment. Doctors are closely monitoring their condition.
The exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained, and further details, including the identities of the injured, are awaited. Authorities have initiated necessary proceedings, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
