DODA, MAY 9: Deputy Commissioner Doda Krishan Lal today flagged off two ambulance Vans provided jointly by Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (JKPDCL) and Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The Ambulances have been allotted to serve people in Doda and Bhalla areas. Chief Medical Officer, Health officials, representatives from social and political organizations and civil society members were present at the flag-off ceremony. The initiative aims to improve emergency medical response and ensure timely transportation of patients, especially in far-flung and hilly areas of the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the contribution of JKPDCL and SAIL towards strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the District. “The addition of these ambulances will significantly benefit the public by providing better access to emergency medical care and reducing delays in shifting critical patients to healthcare institutions,” he noted.
