JAMMU: IAS officer Aayushi Sudan has taken over as the Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jammu Smart City Limited following an administrative reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir.
Aayushi Sudan was previously serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Samba district. She has now been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing Jammu’s municipal administration and smart city projects.
She succeeds Devansh Yadav, who has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri.
Her appointment comes at a time when Jammu is focusing on improving civic amenities, sanitation, waste management, traffic infrastructure and urban development. The new assignment is expected to bring continued attention to municipal services and ongoing smart city initiatives.
