The deceased has been identified as Suhail Furqan, a resident of Kulshari village in Bhalesa, Doda. He was participating in a match of the Bhalesa Chenab Premier Cricket League at Thloran Sports Stadium. According to eyewitnesses, shortly after completing his bowling over, Suhail suddenly collapsed on the ground and lost consciousness.
Teammates and tournament organizers rushed to his aid and provided first assistance before shifting him to the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Changa. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival.
