In a significant breakthrough under the ongoing anti-drug campaign in Jammu and Kashmir, police achieved success in Doda district by arresting a woman allegedly involved in drug trafficking.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, police conducted a raid in the Sadiqabad area of Doda. During the operation, a woman suspected of being involved in the illegal drug trade was apprehended on the spot.
During the search, police recovered approximately 32 grams of a heroin-like narcotic substance from her possession, which was immediately seized as evidence.
Officials stated that the operation is part of a broader drive to dismantle drug networks operating in the region. Preliminary investigations are underway to determine whether the arrested woman is linked to a larger drug supply chain.
