July 31: Three people were injured after a speeding car reportedly skidded off the road and crashed into an electric pole in the Hayan Kangan area of Ganderbal district in Jammu & Kashmir on Friday.
According to officials, the vehicle lost control before hitting the pole with significant impact, leaving three passengers injured. Local residents and emergency responders rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The condition of the injured has not been officially disclosed. Police also reached the accident site soon after receiving information and began an investigation into the incident.
Preliminary reports suggest that overspeeding and the vehicle skidding may have led to the accident, though the exact cause will be confirmed after the completion of the police inquiry.
