Indian Army soldier Jagdish Raj, a resident of Suhagpur village in the Arnia area of Jammu district, Jammu and Kashmir, was martyred while on duty. His mortal remains, wrapped in the Indian tricolour, arrived at his native village on Monday, plunging the entire community into grief. As the tricolour-draped coffin reached his home, heartbreaking scenes unfolded. His mother, wife, and other family members broke down in tears, leaving everyone present deeply moved. Villagers and well-wishers paid an emotional farewell to the brave soldier, honouring his supreme sacrifice for the nation.
